The concentric circles on the floor guide choreography and spatial awareness, while a wall-mounted mirror aids in refining techniques.
Carpentry Room
The Carpentry Room is a dedicated space designed to introduce students to the basics of woodworking and carpentry. It features sturdy workbenches, hand tools like hammers, saws, and screwdrivers, as well as safety equipment such as goggles, gloves, and aprons. There are instructions and guidelines posted on the walls to ensure safe practices while using tools. Students can work on simple projects like building small wooden structures and learning how to measure, cut, and assemble pieces. The room fosters creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning, providing students with the skills to complete their own carpentry projects.
Amphitheatre
The heart of the school is our amphitheatre. Often used for small gatherings or performances, it looks magical at night. During school time, it is used for outdoor classes or for students to just hang out during breaks.
Swimming Pool
With its unique award-winning design, the solar-heated indoor pool is a busy space, whether it is for swim team practices or helping younger students better their swimming skills.
Football Field
From intense Aditi Premier League matches to an obstacle race during PE to whole school gatherings, this central open space is where all the action takes place.
Basketball Court
The Basketball Court is our largest indoor space. But basketball is not the only activity held there. It can transform into a badminton court, a performance space and is often the venue for graduation.
Adventure Playground
Sheltered by our large old raintree, the Adventure Playground is a beloved space for all. It is used by our Std. 1 and 2 students and is always full of activity and noise. Though our older students are too big for the playground equipment, they always love to come by and reminisce about their younger days in the sand pit or the slide or the quiet corner.
Counselling Room
Situated on the first floor, above the Senior Sick Bay, are the counsellor's office and three adjoining consulting rooms. These spaces are welcoming, student-friendly and allow for privacy. A fourth room on this floor, hosts the Personal and Social Education (PSE) component of the Counselling Services.
Jr. Library
Bright and welcoming, the Junior Library is a much-loved space for our young readers. With more than fifteen thousand titles covering a range of genres, the library provides reading opportunities for all our Elementary School readers. The terrace area also doubles up as an activity centre for the Grade 4 and 5 Science Club.
Sr. Library
Reading, studying, small group discussions or just a space for some quiet time, the Senior Library has space for it all. The library has a collection of over twelve thousand books across genres. Students are free to browse and borrow books of their choice. Our librarians are always around to lend a hand or give suggestions.
Jr. Computer Lab
The Junior Computer Lab is where Elementary and Middle School students learn and practice digital literacy, programming, and other technology-based skills. It is equipped with computers, internet access, printers, and other peripherals like scanners and projectors.
Sickbay
Both sickbays are equipped to ensure the safety and well-being of students by addressing immediate health concerns or providing first-aid. The nursing staff also plays a key role in monitoring students with chronic conditions and managing any emergencies related to these conditions.

Equipped with a wide range of instruments like pianos, glockenspiels, drums, guitars, and an array of percussion instruments, it offers something for every aspiring musician. Whether it’s general music classes, choir rehearsals, or specialised high school courses, this lively space inspires joy and creativity in the world of music.
Sr. Computer Lab
The Senior Computer Lab supports learning in subjects such as computer science, programming, and digital design. It encourages students to explore technology, develop problem-solving abilities, and prepare for future studies in fields like IT, engineering, and media.
Food Science Lab
The Food Science Lab is designed to teach High School students about the science of food, nutrition, and cooking processes through hands-on experiments and practical activities. It includes facilities such as workstations, sinks, storage areas for ingredients and utensils, and ventilation for handling heat and cooking odours. Younger students use it when there is a cooking related activity in the class.
Classrooms
Our classrooms are airy, well-lit, and well-ventilated, creating an optimal learning environment for our students. They are equipped with ergonomic seating, display space and also cubby or locker space for students' belongings.

The lab is equipped with various scientific tools, equipment and materials to help students observe, analyse, and understand the complexities of living organisms and biological processes.
Chemistry Lab
The Chemistry Lab provides a hands-on environment where students can conduct experiments to explore chemical concepts and develop practical laboratory skills. With safety in mind, there are wash areas at every table and acid-spill showers in close range. Gas supply channels are protected by screens and have safety cut-off taps within easy reach of everyone in the lab.
Tinker lab
The Tinker Lab is the hub of Design Thinking across all grade levels and academic subjects at MAIS. The 1,500 sq. ft. lab houses work tables, tools, materials, machines, and equipment for fabrication and rapid prototyping. Floor to ceiling whiteboard wall cladding encourages group ideation, and multi-level seating options and wheeled furniture makes this a flexible space. In the Tinker Lab, lessons are designed to equip students with the processes, cognitive frameworks, and culture required to navigate undefined, open-ended problem solving. Students work as teams to apply academic subject knowledge as they collaboratively problem solve.
Physics lab
The Physics Lab enables students to connect theoretical concepts learned in the classroom to real-world applications through practical experiments in areas such as mechanics, electricity, magnetism, and optics. It fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry, helping students develop a deeper understanding of physical laws and principles.
