Grade 1 at Aditi focusses on building foundational skills in literacy and numeracy and also gives exposure to a range of co-curricular activities.

Grade 9 is the point of entry into High School. Depending on availability, seats are offered to students. Students can opt between the ICSE or the IGCSE curriculum streams.

Does the school have boarding facility?

No, it does not. It is a day school.

What academic year does the school follow?

Aditi follows the Indian academic year. We start in the first week of June and close for summer at the end of March.

Does the school have a cafeteria/canteen?

No. Students bring their own lunch and snack.

Is school transport available?

Yes, the school offers a bus transport service from and to some areas of the city.

Is Kannada compulsory as a second language in Elementary School?

Yes, it is as per the directive issued by the Government of Karnataka.

Which examination boards is Aditi affiliated to?

Aditi is affiliated to the following boards:
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) for the ICSE (Stds.9 and 10) and ISC (Stds.11 and 12).
Cambridge Assessment for the IGCSE (Stds.9 and 10) and AS/A-Levels (Stds.11 and 12).

What about admissions to other classes?

There are currently no vacancies in Stds. 2 to 9.
Vacancies, if any arise, will be intimated here.

What is the procedure for admissions to Std.1 ?

January 1 to 7, 2025: The following categories MUST register with the Admissions Officer: sibling, children of alumni, faculty and staff of Aditi. You can register by sending an email to the Admissions Office. You must provide details of your child and clearly state the category under which you are registering. After registration, the normal application procedure is to be followed.
January 22 to 26, 2025: Std.1 application forms will be available on this website.
January 29, 2025: Last day for the submission of forms. Forms must be submitted by 1:00 p.m.
February 8, 2025: Readiness Test in school
Parents of applicants under one or more of the following categories must tick the appropriate box on the form, provided they have already registered their names with the Admissions Officer: siblings, children of alumni, faculty and staff of Aditi. Those who have not registered will be treated as general applicants. Admission under these categories is NOT guaranteed as seats available are limited. Applicants under these categories cannot claim admission as a matter of right.
Please note that application forms must be downloaded. They will NOT be available in school.
All necessary information is provided on the application form.
Applications will be processed and admissions completed on or before March 31, 2025.
The number of seats available is extremely limited. Parents are advised to apply widely to other institutions.
To be eligible for admission into Std.1 in June 2025, the applicant must have completed 6 years by June 1, 2025.

Can prospective Std. 1 parents visit the school?

Open Day for this year is over. Please check the website in August 2025 for information on Open Day for Std 1 June 2026 prospective parents.

What is the timeline for admissions to Std.11 (Academic Year 2024-2025)?

Admissions to Std 11 (Academic Year 2025-2026) are closed.

Application forms for Std 11 (Academic Year 2026-2027) will be published on the school website on December 1, 2025. The entire admission process (including the timeline) will be clearly detailed in the form.
