Home-Grown Champs!

Mallya Aditi International School were the champions at the Aditi Sub-Junior Sports Fest held on November 6th and 7th 2019. They placed first in both the Under-12 and Under-14 girls category.

The Under-12 team beat Vidyaniketan School in the finals 23/20. Captain Gauri Patil was awarded the Best Player of the tournament. Sahana Jaimitt was awarded the Best Defender of the tournament.

The Aditi Under-14 girls team beat National Hill View Public School in the finals 33/20. Captain Riddhi Raj was awarded the Best Defender of the tournament. Mridya Sood was awarded the Best Player of the tournament.



Champions of the Cottonian Shield!

Mallya Aditi International School won the Cottonian Shield in the Under-12 Girls’ Basketball Tournament. They played against Sophia’s in the finals, and scored 31 baskets to their 16. They won against Cluny High School (29/13) in the semi-finals and against DPS North (17/6) in the quarter- finals.

Gauri Patil was given the award for the Best All- rounder of the Tournament.

Mischa Ann Prabhu was awarded the Most Promising Player of the Tournament.

The Under-14 Girls’ team played with spirit, but lost in the semi-finals to NPS Koramangala (32/31). Mridya Sood was awarded the Highest Scorer of the Tournament.



Flying the Aditi Flag High for Karnataka

The Junior Girls’ Basketball team representing Karnataka in the Under-14 category won the National Championship for the Council for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE) Basketball Tournament held from 23rd to 27th September 2019 in Tuticorin, at Vikasa School, Tamil Nadu.
Karnataka beat Maharashtra and Goa in the finals (39/36). In the semi-finals, they beat Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand (51/25). In the quarter-finals, they beat North India (37/8).
The team was coached by Sunayana Swarup of the MAIS PE Department. The Karnataka 12-member squad was selected from six different schools: Mallya Aditi International School (5), New Horizon Public School (3), Vidya Shilp Academy (1), Vidya Niketan School (1), Greenwood High School (1), and Vibgyor High School(1).
Mridya Sood of Std. 08, Aditi School, has been selected to be part of the CISCE Council Team for the Sports Games Federation of India (SGFI) and Sunayana Swarup has been selected as the coach for the SGFI team.



Aditi Young Guns Shoot Baskets at Vibgyor Hennur!

The Aditi Under-12 girls came runners-up at the Vibgyor Hennur Basketball Tournament . They lost in the finals 8/9 to Vydehi School of Excellence.

The Under-10 Aditi girls from Std. 03 and Std. 04 played their first inter-school tournament and placed third in their category at the Vibgyor Hennur Basketball Tournament. They beat Vibgyor Hennur 13/0 for the second runners-up position.



The Trident Cup – Swimming Tournament

Aditi students from Stds. 03 to 06 took part in “THE TRIDENT CUP” swimming competition conducted by Vishwa Vidyapeeth School on 16th November, 2019.

Basketball Glory at Greenwood High

Mallya Aditi International School came in Runners Up at the Greenwood High Basketball Tournament in the Under-15 Girls category. Trinity Savage was awarded Man of the Match. Our Under-13 and Under-11 girls lost in the semis by one point each in their respective categories.








 


Aditi Sports Fest 2019

The Aditi Under-18 Basketball girls’ team came runners up in their home tournament which was held on 7th and 8th August 2019. The students lost to Bishop Cottons in the finals 20/34. Simran Agarwal was awarded the Most Promising Player of the tournament, while Diya Stella Kesari was awarded Best Defender of the tournament.


Basketball – CISCE Champions!

Mallya Aditi International School emerged as the winners at the CISCE championship for 2019. The Under-19 Girls team beat Bishop Cottons 29/27 in the finals and the Under-14 Girls team beat New Horizon 27/16 in the finals and won in their respective categories. Ameya Krishnaswamy was awarded as the Most Promising Player in the Under-14 category and Diya Stella Kesari was awarded the Most Promising Player in the Under-19 category for the tournament.


New Horizon Basketball Tournament

The Aditi Under-14 Girls’ Basketball team came in as Runners Up at the New Horizon State-Level Inter-School Basketball Tournament. They emerged as winners in their pool, beating four other schools to make it to the finals. New Horizon School beat us 19/22 in the finale. Mridya Sood was awarded the Most Promising Player of the tournament.


Home-grown Talent!

The MAIS Under-14 girls’ basketball team came in as runners-up in their home tournament, held between the 7th and 9th of February 2019. Although they lost to Vidyashilp in the finals, Riddhi Raj of Std. 07 was awarded the most promising player!


Aditi Under-11 Girls Basketball Team Win Big at BIS!

On the 28th of February, Bangalore International School hosted an Interschool Basketball Tournament. The Aditi Under-11 girls’ team, made up of students from Stds. 04 and 05 placed first in the tournament, after defeating teams from Greenwood High, Legacy School and BIS.

Mallya Aditi International School’s Under-14 Girls’ Basketball team came in third place at the Vidyashilp Basketball Tournament.
Mridya Sood of Std. 07 was awarded the Most Promising Player award.

 


CISCE Under-19 Football

From the 5th to the 11th of September 2018, the Aditi Boys’ under-19 team participated in U-19 CISCE Football Tournament (Karnataka region). Aditi U-19 Boys won the tournament and seven students – Ved Devaiah, Gaurav Jhangiani, George Poonnen, Advait Shah, Vedant Jouhari, Vir Manepally and Jasper Joel have been selected to play in the Nationals at Kolkata. Two Aditi students, Ved Devaiah and George Poonnen were also selected to play in the School Games Federation of India tournament at Rajasthan.

 


Neev Friendship Sports League for Basketball

Mallya Aditi were runners up in the Neev Friendship Sports League for Basketball in the Under-14 girls category (Std. 08 and below). They lost to Greenwood High in the finals after having emerged as winners in their pool beating three schools (New Horizon Gurukul , Canadian International School and Neev Academy).

 


St John’s Basketball Tournament

The Aditi girls under-11 team represented the school at the St John’s Basketball Tournament in the sub-juniors category (Std. 05 and below) and emerged as the winners. They beat Baldwin’s Girls’ School in the quarterfinals 13/3; they beat Sophia’s 12/10 in the semi-finals; and they beat the Bishop Cottons’ team 9/8 in the finals. Gauri Patil of Std. 05 was awarded the most promising player of the tournament.

 


Aditi Sports Fest 2018

The Aditi Sports Festival took place from August 6th to 8th on our campus. Over fifteen schools took part in the football and basketball (under-18) championships.

MAIS won the football finals against Inventure Academy in a nail-biting match; the girls’ tournament was won by Inventure Academy.

In basketball, the Bishop Cotton girls’ team won against the home team in the finals; and the boys’ tournament was won by the DPS (South) boys’ team.

 


Aditi Girls Shine at Inter-School Basketball Tournament

The Aditi girls basketball team took part in the New Horizon State-Level Inter-School Basketball Tournament, Under-13 Category held on the 2nd and 3rd of August 2018. Our girls were the winners of the tournament. Mridya Sood was awarded the best player.

 


MAIS sweeps awards at Home Tournament

The MAIS Senior Girls Basketball team won the Aditi Sports Fest 2017 against Bishop Cotton Girls’ School. The score was 41-37. Simran Agarwal was awarded the Best Player and Mira Sachdev was awarded the Highest Scorer.

The MAIS Senior Boys Basketball team came Runners Up in the Aditi Sports Fest 2017. They lost to VNS in the finals. Vir Singh was awarded Most Promising Player.

The MAIS Junior Girls Basketball team won the Junior Aditi Sports Fest 2017 against Bishop Cotton Girls’ School by 11 points. The score was 40-29. Nosha Harry Pynam was awarded the Best Player. Diya Stella Kesari was awarded Most Promising Player.

 


MAIS Junior and Senior Girls team win KISA 2017

Our Junior and Senior Girls Basketball teams won the KISA 2017 tournament held in BGS World School. 13 players from our school were selected to represent Karnataka in the ASISC National tournament 2017.
The score in the Junior Girls Finals against Vidyashilp Academy was 31-21. The score in the Senior Girls Finals against Vidyaniketan High School was 29-18.
Arushi Bhandari was awarded the Best Player in the senior category and Trisha Alur was awarded Best Player in the junior category.

 


Aditi Girls win Swimming Gold!

Yamini Srikanth (12 Aice) won 3 Gold medals at the 2nd Open Swimming Competition, held at XLR8. The categories were 25m Fly, 25m Freestyle and 25m Back Stroke.

Adya Kadambari (11 Aice) won a Gold medal in 25m Breast Stroke; and Silver in Back Stroke and Butterfly Stroke..

 


Aditi Girls and Boys’ Football Teams win Home Tournament

The Aditi Sports Fest was held on August 21-23 2017. The teams that participated were Vidyashilp Academy, Vidyaniketan, St Joseph’s Boys High School, Bethany High, FAPS, Bishop Cotton’s High School, Clarence High School and Brigade School . The MAIS U-18 Girls and Boys’ football teams won the tournament. The Best Goalkeeper was awarded to Vedant Jouhari (11D). Most Promising Player was awarded to Aniruddh Ajila (10D). Aniruddh was also awarded Best Player at the Vidyashilp Academy Home Tournament in October 2017.

 


MAIS U-12 Boys win Gopalan Cricket Challenge

MAIS U-12 boys participated in the Gopalan Cricket Challenge in the month of August 2017.
MAIS defeated DPS East in the Semi Finals, and Greenwood High in the Finals, emerging as champions. Samit Dravid was awarded Man of the Series.

 


MAIS girls in winning Karnataka team at ASISC November 2017

The Junior Girls Basketball team representing Karnataka won the National Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC) basketball tournament held on November 13-14, 2017 in Trivandrum at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. Karnataka beat Maharashtra in the finals 62-45 .Simran Agarwal of MAIS was named the Best Player of the tournament. The team was coached by Pramod SK and Assistant Coach Sunayana Swarup.

The Karnataka 12 member squad were selected from five different schools: Mallya Aditi International School (6), Vidya Shilp Academy (3), Vidya Niketan School (1), Little Flower Public School (1) and Deccan International School (1).

The Senior Girls Basketball representing Karnataka won the National Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC) basketball tournament held on November 16-18, 2017 in Trivandrum at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. Karnataka beat Telangana in the finals 43-26. Aastha Vartak, the skipper of MAIS was named the Best Player of the tournament.The team was coached by Sunayana Swarup .

The Karnataka 12 member squad were selected from three different schools: Mallya Aditi International School (7), Vidya Niketan School (3) and Amber Valley School (2).

 


U-16 Boys win MAIS Home Tournament

MAIS won its home tournament in the U-16 Boys category, conducted on the 6-9th of October 2017. Best Goalkeeper was awarded to Yashas Unni (9C). Most Promising Player award was given to Jasper Joel (9D).

 


MAIS beats Bangalore International School in BIS Home Tournament 2017

MAIS Girls Basketball team beat BIS in the finals, with a score of 27-25.

 


MAIS girls win BIS Basketball Tournament

MAIS won the Inter-school Basketball Tournament conducted by Bangalore International School.
Rhea Chawla of Std. 9C got the Best Player Award.

 


MAIS U-18 team win CIS Tournament

The MAIS U-18 team won the football tournament held at Canadian International School Tournament in November 2016.

Rohahn Vardhan was awarded Best Player of the tournament.

 


Karnataka Girls Team Defend Title

The Karnataka Girls Team defended their title in the Senior Girls( ISC) category at the 20th Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC) National Basketball Tournament held at the GMC Stadium in Hyderabad. Prateksha Mohan, Rishika Gowda, Arushi Bhandari and Mira Sachdev of Std. 10 were part of the winning team.
