Counselling services are an integral part of the social and emotional fabric of the school community. Two qualified clinical psychologists provide in-school counselling services to students, parents and teachers. The team works with students either in groups or individually on study skills, adolescent health, stress-management, interpersonal and social skills. The counsellors work closely with teachers on issues of identifying and assessing students with emotional and learning difficulties, providing student specific and general classroom management strategies, conducting teacher workshops and contributing inputs to the Personal and Social education curriculum. Our counsellors also liase with parents, lending them a much needed ear, in addition to conducting age-specific parenting skill workshops. |
