Aditi’s classes run from Preparatory to Standard 12. At Standard 9 and 11 students can opt for qualifications offered by:

  • The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, Delhi offers the ICSE examination at Standard 10 and ISC at Standard 12.
    or

  • Cambridge International Examinations, Cambridge (UK) offers the IGCSE at Standard 10 and the AICE at Standard 11 and 12.

These qualifications enjoy worldwide recognition. Our international curricula and programmes make it easy for Aditi graduates to get accepted top universities in India and abroad.

Alumni confirm that both programmes prepare them well for university. Take a quick look at the list of universities and colleges that MAIS graduates have gained admission into.

The classes from Preparatory to Standard 8 follow a carefully structured curriculum that is constructed and edited by the teachers and is constantly renewed and revitalised. In 2006, the University of Chicago’s School Math Program titled Everyday Mathematics was introduced in the Elementary School, with great success.

The ESL (English as a Second Language) Programme

MAIS offers a specialized ESL programme to students whose first language is not English. The student is assessed, to gauge the level of spoken and written English, and placed in the beginners, intermediate or advanced level.

The beginner’s level immerses the student in language instruction until basic skills are acquired. Mathematics, Science and Social Studies are also taught in the ESL Room. Music, art and physical education are taught with their grade-level, to give students opportunities to practice their newly acquired language skills. As their confidence increases, the students study Mathematics and Science with the rest of their grade-level. Gradually, as their English gets better, they are mainstreamed.
